A Photographer, David Heath took five years and eight trips to complete the stunning pictures about this Asian country – Myanmar.
Here, he was fascinated by the Kyauk Ka Lat Lake in HpA-An, Kayin State, and the image of the monks sailing toward a temple.
It took him 5 years and 8 times travelling to Myanmar to feel the authentic beauty of this nation
His target is to take the most vivid pictures about everyone he has met

Breathtaking sceneries at sunset always attract photographers; David Heath is not the exception. On the way, he has taken this amazing moment at the peak of ancient temples in Bagan when the light of sunset covering the beautiful temples of Ananda temple and Thatbyinnyu temple
Passing over the famous bridge in Mandalay, David also had a chance to take the images of women who is catching fish on the Taung Tha Man Lake.
This is a picture about fishing villagers with their daily works such as catching fish at the Lake of Taung Tha Man, Amarapura in Mandalay.
David said that he had been to Myanmar for the first time since six years ago. According to David, Myanmar has still many ancient villages, which are isolated from the rest of the world.
Many of them have never contacted to the shooting. However, he believed that his openness would make him and the villagers close to each other.
During his journey, David had his favorite photo at one of the temples in Bagan, young monks at the temple are very friendly with their bright smile.
This is a picture about the little girl who is buying watermelon on the Yangon circular train. Nowadays, all the old trains are replaced gradually.
This is a photo about a monk who is praying under the statue of Siddhartha Prince in the ancient cave of 500 – year old.
